PABC's mission is to lead the physiotherapy profession by fostering excellence in practice, education and research. As such, we recognize our valued members who go above and beyond by awarding a variety of bursaries and awards.

PABC Excellence Awards
Deadline: February 3, 2020

The PABC Awards of Excellence provide a way for physiotherapists who have promoted excellence in practice to be acknowledged and acclaimed by their professional community. The four award categories include:

  • Lifetime Accomplishment
  • Leadership
  • Clinical Contribution
  • Professional Contribution
     

The Ruth Byman Memorial Award
Deadline: February 3, 2020

This award is a legacy to Ruth Byman's relentless pursuit of knowledge, her professionalism, and her genuine concern for helping others. By recognizing annually the same thirst for knowledge and excellence in a PABC member the spirit of Ruth Byman continues to inspire.
 

The Peter Huijbregts Memorial Award
Deadline: February 3, 2020

This award is a legacy to Peter Huijbregts' significant contribution to the physiotherapy profession both locally and internationally through his teaching and research. It recognizes the same passion for knowledge, teaching and research in a PABC member.

FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

Rural and Remote Funding
Deadline: March 6, 2020

The Rural and Remote Physio Forum funding is an award to support PABC members in delivering high quality physiotherapy services which are unique to rural and remote areas of BC.

BC Physio Forum Funding
Deadline: February 3, 2020

PABC provides funding for travel expenses to five PABC members from the four regions outside the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley to attend our annual BC Physio Forum and post Forum courses.

CPA Congress Funding
Deadline: February 3, 2020

PABC provides funding for members to attend the CPA Congress which is intended to allow PABC members to promote communication between PABC and CPA.
