Kevin Bos B.Sc.PT, FCAMPT, Dip Manips, Sports Cert, CGIMS

Kevin Bos is a co-owner of Sun City Physiotherapy and has been working as a physiotherapist for over 17 yrs. He graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1996 with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy and worked for several years in the Fraser Valley before moving to the Okanagan. Passionate about continuing education, Kevin has obtained some of the highest standards in manual therapy, sports and needling in the physiotherapy profession, including a Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy, a Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy, and Certificate in GUNN IMS (intramuscular stimulation).  He is also a Board Director with the Physiotherapy Association of BC (PABC).

Kevin's diverse experiences have seen him work with a broad spectrum of clients and injuries.  He has also worked as the physiotherapist and trainer for the UBC Basketball team, the Abbotsford Junior Hockey team, and he is currently the physiotherapist for the Canadian National Ultra-Marathon Team. He accompanied both the road and trail team to the World Championships in Gibraltar in 2010, Ireland in 2011 and Italy in 2012.

Kevin has also been involved himself in many different sports over the years at a competitive level, including University Basketball and National Baseball. Currently his passion is squash, cross country skiing, road cycling and mountain biking. His own diverse sports participation has given him invaluable experience in relating to his clients' injuries and rehabilitation, Outside of work he enjoys skiing and hiking with his wife and three children and currently coaches all 3 children in the Steve Nash Basketball league.

In my grade 10 year, life radically changed for me. I got home from school one day and was told that my mom was taken to the hospital. She had been losing strength in her hands and legs slowly over the course of 2 weeks, but not being able to push the hair spray bottle down was the final straw. After several differential diagnostic tests she was put on the list for GF Strong with a year long rehab battle with Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
