About me

Daniel has a degree in exercise science  from  UBC, a degree in Physiotherapy and a Masters degree in Manual Therapy both from Australia.   His experience includes:

  • 2 years in the hospital setting  working in many areas (neurology, intensive care, orthopaedics, spinal surgery)
  • 19 years in  private practice, with a focus on manual and exercise therapy for all spinal and orthopaedic conditions
  • certification in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) which is a form of acupuncture
  • running injury specialist

His sport interests outside of physiotherapy include skiing, hiking , competitve running , triathlon and playing with his two young kids at the park.

Daniel's  clinic, Pure Form Physiotherapy, has two locations located in Willoughby, Langley. Dan sees only one patient at a time, and each session is 30 minutes long. With his strong background in manual therapy and sport physiotherapy, each patient receives a very detailed orthopaedic, core and gait assessment.  Treatment begins with  educating the patient as to what the problem likely is. Treatment modalities include  IMS, manual therapy ( such as joint mobilisation, manipulation and myofascial release) and exercise prescription.  For runners, a graduated return to running program is  created.  Working closely  with the patient with a goal oriented approach,  a great result can be expected at Pure Form Physiotherapy.
