About me

Stephanie is the Professional Practice Lead for Physiotherapy in the East Kootenays, and has worked in Public practice for the majority of her 15 year career. She is based at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, and enjoys being part of a supportive team that goes above and beyond to provide excellent patient care.

Stephanie is passionate about rural & remote recruitment and retention. Clinically, she has a special interest in Critical Care – this in spite of the fact that Cardioresp was her least favourite subject material during her Physiotherapy training! Stephanie graduated from McMaster University in 2007 and has completed a variety of Stroke, Vestibular Rehab, and leadership courses since then.

Stephanie currently sits on the PABC Board of Directors, and acts as liaison for the Rural & Remote Committee.

Stephanie holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Lethbridge. When not at work, you will find Stephanie enjoying the beautiful East Kootenays with her husband, daughter, and Australian Shepherd/Border Collie Lucy, or exploring the trails with her crew of mountain biking ladies.
