Sandy Wilson

Sandy Wilson, Registered Physiotherapist

Sandy graduated from The University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1999. She has been working in Victoria as a Sports Physiotherapist for over 20 years. She opened Arbutus Physiotherapy in 2012.

As a competitive (age-group) triathlete she is familiar with injury from sport and understands what is required for rehabilitation. Sandy uses manual therapy techniques, functional dry needling/IMS, shockwave therapy, ultrasound and rehabilitative exercises to treat a wide range of injuries and movement impairments. She also prescribes custom orthotics. Sandy has a very hands-on approach to ensure each patient receives the very best treatment to promote their full recovery and return to an active, healthy lifestyle.

Outside of Sandy’s busy practice she spends her time with her two children, 2 border collies  and training with her husband for her next race.
