About me

Pratik completed his Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy at Rajiv Gandhi University, India and went on to obtain a Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Science, and a Major in Biomechanics from Manchester Metropolitan University, in the United Kingdom. He is an active member of the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC) and Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). As a life long learner and strong believer in continuing education and evidence based practice Pratik is also completing his Diplomas in Advanced Manual & Manipulative Therapy and Sports Physiotherapy.

Having over 5 years of experience he’s helped various clients with different conditions from sports injuries, work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, orthopedic conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, workplace advice/recommendations, neurological conditions, acute care & pediatric conditions & elderly and respiratory conditions.

Pratik also strongly believes in the preventive approach by educating his patients in understanding their injuries and problems. He provides individualized home exercise programs to reinforce the Physiotherapy treatment sessions along with preventing them from happening again in the future.

In your first visit, you can expect to receive a hands-on manual therapy based detailed assessment & treatment, an opportunity to ask questions, education – (modalities and their effects, medical conditions, multimedia patient education videos, demonstration of exercises, home exercise program with pictures and videos).

Pratik likes to spend the rest of his free time with his family exploring new places, cooking, playing table tennis, and swimming.
