About me

I graduated in 2005 from Chigasaki Rehabilitation College from Japan. I have experienced working in hospitals, out-patient clinics and community rehabilitation in Japan and Canada. I have a special interest working with neurological and orthopaedic conditions such as stroke, Parkinson disease, brain injury, spinal cord injury, fractures & joint replacement surgeries. I have training in individual muscle stretching (ID stretching) and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) so that she can approach patients to improve their body flexibility and muscular strength.

I am an enthusiastic and supportive therapist who is dedicated to helping people in order to achieve their goals. My treatment philosophy is to find the reason for physical dysfunctions with a comprehensive assessment of the whole body and treat the patient with a hands-on exercise approach. I treat patients individually with full respect and dignity so that they will integrate into a quality of exercise, and it will lead to maximize their potential.

When I have free time, I keep active through walking on trails, surfing, cooking and gardening. She spends a majority of time with family and friends.
