Jenifer received her Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario in 1996. She has been working in private practice physiotherapy in British Columbia since she graduated. Post graduate studies have included the Intermediate Manual Therapy in the Orthopaedic system of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA), Chan Gunn IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation), Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation, Temporomandibular Rehabilitation and Visceral Manipulation through the Barral Institute.
Jenifer is very passionate about her work and believes any successful treatment stems from a comprehensive assessment to find the “cause” of the problem. She utilizes a multi-modal approach to her treatments, incorporating many different technique to achieve goals.
Jenifer has a particular interest in treating cervical (neck) and temporomandibular (Jaw) disorders.
Jenifer has proven success with mentoring physiotherapists and prides herself on a very “hands-on”, multidisciplinary approach to her treatments. She has been the physiotherapist to international, interprovincial and recreational sport teams and players.
