I have always loved the study of biology and human sciences and knew I wanted to work in the medical field. After a car accident in grade 12, I met the most fabulous physiotherapist. I did not know what physiotherapy was prior to my own therapy. I knew instantly that this was my calling. Knowing the challenge of getting into the program at UBC and actually succeeding was the confirmation that I made the right choice. What I have learned over the years is how our physical health is so integrated in our spirtual, and emotional health. I have enjoyed the continuing journey of study and witnessing the benefits of thearpy for so many clients. As a therapist, I have found my own life experiences and physical challenges have made me a more compassionate and understanding therapist.
