About me

Greg Cassap graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Medicine (combined PT/OT) after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at UBC in 1980. Since 1983 Greg has practiced as a physical therapist, primarily in private practice in Richmond as owner of the Steveston Village Orthopaedic and Sports Therapy Clinic (1990 to date) and WCB preferred network provider (work conditioning and occupational rehabilitation programs; 1994-2003). Greg served as President and Past President of the BC Association of Physiotherapists in Private Practice (BCAPPP; 1988-90) and was a member of the BCAPPP Fee Negotiations Committee (1990-1996). Greg has been an active member of the Physiotherapy Association of BC (PABC), serving on various PABC committees between 1989 and 1999 (Media Relations Committee 1989-94; PABC-ICBC Liaison Committee 1992-93; PABC-WCB Liaison Committee 1993-1999). Greg was elected in 1999 to the Board of the College of Physical Therapists of BC and served a full term as a member of the Board until 2005.
