Sun City Physiotherapy’s Lower Mission clinic opened in Spring of 2018 and is our fourth Kelowna area clinic. We offer direct billing for private payees and accept MSP, DVA, ICBC and Worksafe claims. There is free parking on-site, and the building is wheelchair accessible. The Lower Mission clinic is open 7:30am-8:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Our multidisciplinary team of university-trained Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, and Kinesiologists recognize the importance of client individuality and personalized care. Physiotherapists use a manual therapy ‘hands-on” approach for assessment and treatment. This is combined with advanced techniques individualized for each patient. We believe in the importance of evidence-based practice and the need for tailored exercise prescriptions.
Our Lower Mission clinic provides a broad scope of services including: management of orthopaedic and sports injuries, manual and manipulative therapy, intramuscular stimulation (IMS), acupuncture, TMJ and orofacial pain disorders, exercise programs and concussion management. Our Registered Massage Therapists provide therapeutic and sports massage.
