About me

~~Christelle obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Dance at the University of Calgary in 2010 and went on to complete her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2012.  She is excited to be able to integrate her knowledge and experiences as an athlete into her treatment style as a physiotherapist.  After a gentle, detailed assessment, her physiotherapy treatment programs are tailored to meet the individual goals of each patient.  They will include forms of myofascial release, joint mobilization, dry needling/IMS, therapeutic stretching, modalities, and education as well as exercise based therapy and rehabilitation.  Achieving pain free range of motion and mobility allows patients to gain the ability to restrengthen in order to prevent future injuries and is essential in returning to normal day to day function.

Outside of her life as a physiotherapist, Christelle enjoys sharing her passion for dance with children and teens of all ages as a contemporary, ballet and jazz dance teacher.  She has begun to develop her skills as a choreographer as well.  Christelle also has a love of long distance running and has participated in numerous marathons over recent years.  When not running, she is an avid mountain scrambler either solo or with friends and enjoys exploring the outdoors.
