I am a physiotherapist who is passionate to discover the WHY behind a person's pain or movement pattern and treat both the parts and the whole person to help them obtain optimal movement and health. I have been practicing as a physio for 25 years specializing in manual therapy and work in private practice in Coquitlam, BC. I have a varied caseload and enjoy working with clients from young to old, whether they have a sports, orthopaedic, or neurological concern, strain, sprain, disc or repetitive injury, or if they have been injured at work, home or have been in a motor vehicle accident. With extensive training in mobilizations, manipulations of joints and soft tissues as well as of the cranial sacral system and visceral system (that connects tissues from the thoracic cavity, abdominal and pelvic organs to that of the bones), I work with my hands to release tensions in muscles, joints, fascia and also the nervous and vascular systems helping to restore posture, range of motion and diminish pain. I prescribe exercises to improve proprioception, balance, strength and endurance. I enjoy mentoring others, teaching manual therapy skills to physiotherapists and other clinicians and teach both through the Barral and Upledger Institutes.
