About me

Cassandra was born and raised on the North Shore where she graduated from UBC with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. She obtained a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Immediately upon graduation Cassandra continued her education, obtaining certification in the cervicothoracic and lumbopelvic complexes as well as acupuncture and IMS/dry needling.

Due to her long standing interest in pelvic care, Cassandra has additionally become certified in Pelvic Health, completing all levels (Level I, II and III). This has allowed her to rehabilitate patients with a variety of conditions including prolapse, incontinence, and pelvic pain as well as further assess and investigate lower back pain. Cassandra has supplemented this knowledge with specialized training in Pregnancy and Pelvic Girdle Pain, Labour and Delivery, Chronic Pain and the Sensitive Nervous System, The Female Athlete, Breast Cancer, Pelvic Floor Oncology as well as Treating Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse, Sexual Assault and Birth Trauma.

As a former competitive soccer player, equestrian and ski racer, Cassandra understands the importance of both prevention and rehabilitation to keep her clients remaining healthy and active.  Cassandra's treatment approach is evidence-based and focuses on the person from a trauma-informed, biopsychosocial perspective, giving her clients a well-rounded and individualized approach to maximizing recovery and promoting wellness. Cassandra has experience working with clients of all ages, genders and abilities and enjoys helping each individual reach their own personal goals.

When Cassandra is not at work you can find her running on the seawall, hiking or skiing on the slopes in Whistler.
