Antonio graduated from The University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of
Human Kinetics and a Masters in Physical Therapy. Working as a
physiotherapist, he specializes in sports injuries, post surgical rehabiliation,
concussion and vestibular rehabilitation.
Antonio has his Level One Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manipulative
Therapy and is a certified sports physiotherapist through Sports Physiotherapy
Canada. Through his ongoing professional development, Antonio is a Certified
Gunn IMS practitioner through UBC, and certified in neuroanatomical
acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI). He
is also certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation, dealing with vertigo and dizziness
disorders, and in concussion rehabilitation, dealing with recovery from post
concussion symptoms.
Antonio has worked as a physiotherapist with Field Hockey Canada, the
Vancouver Stealth, local high school football team (NWSS Hyacks) and multiple
local soccer teams. His love for sport originated through playing soccer at a
young age, later playing for Langara College. Antonio continues to be involved in
soccer as a player and coach.
