About me

Lori Anne is a Physical Therapist in Nelson, British Columbia. She works at Mountain Sport Clinic, which has a focus area that includes preventing and treating sports injuries, optimizing post operative recovery, and progressing athletic performance.

Lori Anne has a special interest in knees. Lori Anne uses a variety of treatment techniques including: manual therapy, soft tissue massage, customized exercise programs, acupuncture, Intramuscular Stimulation and electrical modalities. She has completed training in Vestibular Rehabilitation.

Lori Anne is a member of the Canadian National Ski Mountaineering Team, has trained extensively in Classical Ballet and is an avid whitewater kayaker, mountain biker, trail runner, and salsa dancer.

Lori Anne received her Certificate in Anatomical Acupuncture from Acupuncture Canada (formerly Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute) and her Certificate in Intramuscular Stimulation from the University of British Columbia. She has completed two levels of post graduate training in Manual Therapy with the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
