Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team! As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and achieve optimal physical function. Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical condition and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including exercise prescription, manual therapy, and modalities
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals
- Educate patients and their families on self-management strategies and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in physiotherapy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy (Internationally educated therapists are welcome as well)
- Registration with CPTBC (if you’re in BC) or other provincial colleges - if you plan to relocate to BC.
- Proven clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in specialized areas (e.g., dry needling, pelvic floor therapy)
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
