Modern Dry Needling Anatomical Neuropathic Intramuscular Stimulation (AN-IMS)
AN-IMS (formerly AN-IMS 1) is an intensive course created for health care practitioners who have not taken any IMS/Dry needling courses previously or are new to this application of dry needling. This includes those who have previous acupuncture training.
AN-IMS trains participants to utilize the neuropathic clinical reasoning framework in the safe and effective application of dry needling as a treatment modality and will allow the practitioner to treat clients immediately. Throughout the course participants will learn to treat the whole body comprehensively. ANIMS is a hybrid course with both online and in person components.
ANIMS is the equivalent of Parts 1 and 2 of other dry needling programs. The entire body is covered in this comprehensive 4-day course. This includes the entire spine, upper extremity, lower extremity, shoulder girdle, pelvic girdle, skull and jaw. You will be able to apply for rostering with your provincial college following successful completion of ANIMS.
