Nicole has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria and a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. She is a certified strength trainer and fitness leader through BCRPA. Nicole is also currently undergoing her training in Advanced Orthopedic Manual Therapy through the Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopedic Division. As a kinesiologist and Registered Physiotherapist she is trained in movement analysis and the biomechanics of the human body. She works with her clients to diagnose, treat and implement prevention for various types of movement dysfunctions. Her treatment approach incorporates a balance of manual therapy, specific exercise-based programs and client education with the goal of decreasing pain and optimizing function. She has a specific interest in core strengthening / stabilization.
Nicole is passionate about her practice and feels fortunate to be able to help individuals in accomplishing their physical goals. She has many years of dance training and still enjoys attending classes in her spare time. She enjoys yoga, running, hiking and pretty much any thing that keeps her moving and outdoors.
