A first in Canada

Dr. Teresa Liu-Ambrose (Professor) has received a grant from CIHR to research the Impact of Physical Exercise on the Inactive Body and Brain. CIHR has partnered with the Canadian Space Agency and the Canadian Frailty Network in a research study on the health impacts of inactivity. This study is a first of its kind in Canada.

Dr Pat Camp (Associate Professor) recently participated in a by-invitation U.S. National Institutes of Health (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease) two-day workshop to discuss the post-acute sequelae of COVID-19.
