To ensure physiotherapists from all over BC have the opportunity to benefit from this professional development opportunity, WorkSafeBC is pleased to offer sponsorship for two physiotherapists living and working in a rural community to attend.
The Details
BC Physio Forum 2020 is at the Sheraton Wall Centre in Vancouver, April 25–26. WorkSafeBC will provide reimbursement of up to $1,000 per physiotherapist, to cover the cost of travel (ground and/or air transportation), accommodation, and forum and post-forum course registration.
This sponsorship is open to physiotherapists who meet the following criteria:
- You are currently treating injured workers under the Physiotherapy Services Agreement.
- You reside outside of the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley regions.
- Special consideration will be given to those physiotherapists in rural or remote locations.
- Where applications are received from multiple regions, no more than one physiotherapist will be selected from each region.

- Your name.
- Clinic name and location.
- How long you have been treating B.C.’s injured workers.
- Why you would like to attend the forum and how it will impact your physiotherapy practice and care for injured workers.
Applications must be received by Tuesday, March 17th and recipients will be notified by Monday, March 23th.
