The experience of working through the pandemic has been a serious strain on many, with healthcare workers facing some of the toughest challenges. While working to keep the rest of society safe, healthy and informed, some of those working in healthcare have encountered difficulty supporting themselves and their mental well-being.

With this in mind, the Government of Canada launched Wellness Together Canada last year, which is an online portal designed "to help address the unprecedented rise in feelings of stress, anxiety and depression in Canada due to COVID-19." The portal offers access to free and confidential online mental health and substance use supports, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in both official languages.

Wellness Together Canada encourages healthcare workers and primary care providers to remember to look after their well-being too. They want you to know you're not alone - phone counselling is offered 24/7 in over 200 languages!
