We are aware of Minister Adrian Dix’s and Provincial Health Officer Bonnie Henry’s recent statements in the media that a broader vaccine mandate for all regulated health professionals would be coming and that vaccination might become a college registration requirement. However, as of December 13, 2021, the College has not received any additional direction from the PHO about the Order.
PABC is also aware that a request to participate in a vaccine mandate survey has been sent out via email by an as of yet unidentified/unverified group.
PABC would like to clarify that we are not associated with this survey request and the group promoting the survey.
When it comes to matters of public health and the regulations surrounding COVID-19, PABC relies on and defers to the experts that are monitoring the situation.
