PABC recently sent a letter to Premier Horgan, Minister Dix, and Dr. Henry to call for all physiotherapy services to remain available and accessible to British Columbians throughout the pandemic.

We heard from our dedicated and hardworking members during the shutdowns of many private clinics in the first wave of the pandemic. They were understandably stressed and upset about this decision. We also heard loud and clear from the public; they were in great need of their regular physiotherapy care.

We also know this period of halting private physiotherapy care particularly hit hard for those working in rural and remote communities across the province, as their resources are already stretched thin.

We wrote this letter for our members, the public, and all British Columbians, as everyone knows someone who needs physiotherapy to live a pain-free life.
