Every year PABC acknowledges a select few UBC MTP students who have shown remarkable aptitude, leadership, and other exemplary skills.
While we, unfortunately, can’t spotlight every single student (even though they all deserve commending), we would like to offer a big congratulations to this year’s entire graduating class.

Physiotherapy Association of BC Clinical Case Excellence Award
Awarded to the student with the highest cumulative standing in PHTH 528, 538, 548, & 558. Congratulations to this year’s recipient, Eileen Lubke!
Physiotherapy Association of BC Student Engagement Award
Awarded to the student who has demonstrated student engagement in the profession through active involvement in PABC initiatives including creating, leading, and fostering participation in activities that raise awareness of PABC among students in the MPT program. Congratulations to this year’s recipient, Amy Edwards!
Physiotherapy Association of BC Student Leadership Award
Awarded to the student who has demonstrated leadership potential and ability during the program and who has contributed to the profession in a unique and innovative way. Congratulations to this year’s recipient, Emma Woo!
Canadian Physiotherapy Association Award
Awarded to the student with the second highest academic standing for the degree of Master of Physical Therapy. Congratulations to this year’s recipient, Lena Walther!
PABC Academic Achievement Award
Awarded to the student with the highest cumulative standing in the MPT cohort during their first year. Congratulations to this year’s recipient, Janelle Smuin!
