                                                          Pay Transparency Update

Beginning November 1, 2023, all employers in British Columbia are required to include salary or wage details in their publicly advertised job postings. This new mandate, under Section 2 of the Pay Transparency Act, aims to enhance transparency and fairness in hiring practices.

Please note: This regulation necessitates stating either the exact pay or a specified range, such as '$20-$30 per hour' or '$40,000 - $60,000 per year'. However, the inclusion of bonus pay, overtime, commissions, tips, or benefits remains optional.
