The PABC Board of Directors, on behalf of the Association, is delighted to announce the appointment of Rebecca Tunnacliffe as interim CEO for PABC.
Rebecca will provide support to our organization until a new CEO is appointed. She assumed her role on July 27th. Rebecca served 15 years as CEO of PABC from 2000 to 2015. As she rejoins the Association, “RBT” brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience with physiotherapy and executive leadership.
Rebecca holds a Master of English degree from Queen’s University and has studied leadership theory throughout her career. She retired a year ago after leading the BC Recreation and Parks Association as CEO for the 7 years since her time with PABC.
She is excited to return part-time to offer her leadership expertise until the new CEO is in place in order to support the Board’s advocacy and operational initiatives. With a career of executive leadership of provincial organizations, Rebecca’s reputation is built on her tenacious commitment to advancing the vision of organizations and the interests of their members while eliciting greatness from individuals and teams.
“I am keen to reconnect with members and offer continuity in this liminal time,” said Rebecca.
