About me

My primary role is clinician but I am continuing to develop as a clinician, and teacher. I believe that my eclectic background and diverse skills help me to maintain an open mind and to better assist my clients. I am skilled in Connect TherapyTM, manual therapy, exercise prescription and acupuncture as well as IMS/dry needling and believe that quality client education is the cornerstone to their success with physiotherapy. I've taken numerous additional postgraduate courses in the areas of Connect Therapy, Thoracic Ring ApproachTM, therapeutic exercise, movement disorders, muscle imbalance, and assessment and treatment of disorders of the nervous system, including pain, vestibular injuries, and concussion management. I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with great mentors to gain skills working with people with TMJ disorders and also women who have had mastectomy.

I feel that being active myself helps me better understand what it means to be sidelined from activity, and to better educate you on preventing and rehabilitating from injuries so you can meet your physical goals and be healthy. I love road and mountain biking, running, alpine skiing, snow shoeing and yoga. I enjoy working with people with range of abilities and activity levels, from those just comtemplating getting going to professional athletes.

I feel strongly that it is my job is to assist you in gaining the skills, knowledge and confidence to take charge of your recovery.
