Kam Yan graduated from the University of Alberta and started off practising in acute hospitals in Alberta & BC. For the past 25 years, he has been helping patients in private practice, specializing in musculoskeletal disorders, back, neck, shoulder, knee, ankle, and sport injuries. He has helped many patients as shown in the written comments on Clinic Patient Feedback book. He is well-liked by all patients for his undivided attention, passion, commitment, and success in the relief of their pains.
Kam is also a registered Acupuncturist, an IMS practitioner and IMS instructor in BC and Hong Kong. He uses physiotherapy, acupuncture, intramuscular stimulation, manual energy transfer, massage, stretching, traction, trigger point needling and many others in the correction of acute or chronic degenerative vertebral and soft tissue problems.
His Academic Achievements include being a speaker at the World Congress of Physiotherapy, UBC Physiotherapy, Beijing University of China, a paper publication on Cardiac Rehabilitation, and the IMS Honorary Fellowship at ISTOP (Institute for The Study of Pain).
