About me

Catherine Eustace BAppSc(PT), Advanced IBITA Instructor; graduated in 1985 from Lincoln Institute of Applied Science, Melbourne, Australia.

Cathy has worked in the area of neuro-rehabilitation since 1988 with a focus in treatment of clients with stroke, head injury and incomplete spinal cord lesion.

Cathy immigrated to Vancouver in 1991, initially taking a position at GF Strong Rehabilitation Hospital. In 1996 she left GF Strong to become one of the first therapists in Vancouver to work in her own private practice treating neurological clients. She is currently a co-owner of a private community neuro-rehabilitation practice, Neuro-Ability, in Vancouver

She qualified as a Basic IBITA instructor (International Bobath Instructors Training Association) in 2002 and as an Advanced IBITA Instructor in 2010. In her capacity as an IBITA Instructor she teaches qualified physiotherapists and occupational therapists nationally and internationally including Australia, Europe and Great Britain

Cathy maintains a clinical caseload at her private practice in Vancouver, and provides one on one clinical mentorship on a consult basis to physiotherapists and occupational therapists.  

Cathy maintains an active lifestyle completing 3 half marathons in recent years as well as several holidays travelling by bicycle with her husband and children. When she has the chance to unwind you will find her relaxing at the family retreat on Hornby Island off the West Coast of Canada
