About me

Ashley grew up in Vancouver, and completed her Masters of Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2010.  She continues to expand her understanding of human movement and rehabilitation by taking post-graduate courses.  Most recently she has completed the Bobath course for neurological rehabilitation.  She has also been working towards the Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy Diploma.  She is certified for dry needling/IMS.

Ashley has a special interest in lower extremity amputee rehabilitation and has completed an advanced course for gait training.

In the past several years Ashley has been working at the rehabilitation department at Holy Family Hospital in Vancouver.  She has been working with clients ranging from lower extremity amputees, hip and knee replacement, post fracture to post stroke patients.  She has also practiced at other hospitals and private clinics around the Lower Mainland.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys running around trying to catch her two small children on the local playgrounds and jungle gyms.  She also goes swimming, skiing, hiking and biking whenever she gets the chance, and likes exploring BC on family camping trips.
