About me

Alisha has a strong passion for human health, physical rehabilitation, pelvic floor physiotherapy and education. Alisha competed her Bachelors degree from McGill University, and continued on to complete her physiotherapy degree from UBC. During her time at McGill, Alisha was a teaching assistant for clinical human anatomy. Alisha has always been a curious learner, and is continuously investigating the newest research. Her passion for clinical research began at McGill, where she worked in a respiratory physiology lab as a research assistant. Alisha continues to participate in clinical continuing education, having successfully completed her functional dry needling certificate, and is working towards her Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy. To make her life even busier, she one day hopes to complete a PhD!

In the treatment room, Alisha is an active listener, and tailors her treatment to the individual needs of each client. Her clinical interests include pelvic floor physiotherapy, throwing athletes, adolescent and youth, and artistic gymnastics. Having grown up with North Vancouver in her backyard, Alisha has participated as an athlete and physio in many trail running events.

Outside the clinic, you can find Alisha running, planting vegetables, playing softball, snowboarding, baking cakes and trotting around the barn.
