Hello,
My name is Naomi Casiro and I am Parkinsons specific physiotherapist living in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. I am the owner and founder of NeuroFit BC, a parkinsons specific physiotherapy clinic, with locations in both Vancouver and Victoria, which provides telehealth and in person treatment for those living with PD/stroke in BC. Through our Fundamentals of Functional Movement (FFM) exercise classes, education, personalized planning and 1:1 physiotherapy treatment we help clients to manage and optimize symptoms and mitigate disease progression so they can live their lives to the fullest both now and in the future. I have a huge passion for treating people with Parkinson's disease and teach courses and seminars on the benefits of functional exercise and specific treatment for this population both at UBC and across Canada. I am the co founder of Canada's only Parkinsons Exercise and wellness retreat (RISE PD Retreat) and provide free online exercise videos for the broader PD community (www.neurofitbc.com).
If you or someone you know has PD and you would like more information on how to optimize your/their function and future please get in touch.
