Neuro-Ability Rehabilitation Services
Neuro-Ability is a practice of physiotherapists with a special interest treating individuals with conditions impacting the nervous system such as stroke, brain injury, incomplete spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, MS, and other neurological conditions, in addition to complex musculoskeletal conditions. Members of our team have provided neurological rehabilitation in Vancouver since 1991.
Our goal is to increase balance, decrease effort and maximize comfort in all aspects of physical mobility and performance. Our focus is to enhance quality of life by assisting our clients to return to meaningful roles within their home, social setting, recreation and workplace. We recognize the importance of liaising with different community team members and providing rehabilitation in a variety of settings such as the clinic, home, gym, and community centre. Body Weight Support Tredmill Training is amongst many of the unique clinic services offered.
All of the Neuro-Ability physiotherapists have extensive experience in the assessment, treatment and management of individuals with neurological conditions and have all participated in post-graduate clinical education pertinent to neurological rehabilitation. Several of our team teach courses related to neuro-rehabilitation locally, nationally, and internationally.
