Born and raised on Vancouver Island, sports and the outdoors have always been integral to my life. I have grown up skiing and hiking the local mountains. My work optimizing health and well-being, cycling, running, fashion (shoes!!!) and travelling inspires me. Having dealt with multiple injuries while completing running, hiking and cycling events around the world, I know how difficult the road to recovery can be. I have both the personal and professional experience to get individuals back to living their best lives, and to doing what they love.
I have an advanced diploma in manual therapy, and am a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). I was also a certified trainer for the Canadian Navy.
My vision is to make excellent rehabilitation accessible to everyone. I am passionate about collaboration on various platforms: from building community through shared forums and weekly/monthly discussion groups between healthcare specialities, to consulting with tech wearable companies. I believe that collaboration, education and technology can bridge the gap between standard and optimal healthcare.
I strive to empower individuals with the education and tools they need to recover from injury and maximize performance, based on their goals and needs. I enjoy working with all sectors of the population, from the general public, athletes and corporate health.
I use education, manual therapy, soft tissue release, dry needling (intramuscular stimulation/IMS) and exercise, to achieve personal goals and expectations.
