About me

Sarah completed her Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University (2013) and then graduated with her Master's of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia (2015). Since graduating, She has helped her patients achieve their health and activity goals through her work at North Shore Sports Medicine in North Vancouver.

Sarah is an active member of both the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC). She served on PABC's Business Affairs Committee for 6 years including 3 years as Chair of the committee and she just completed a term on the Professional Development Advisory Committee. In 2023, Sarah was honoured to be elected to the PABC Board and is committed to promoting the physiotherapy profession to government, insurance providers / funders, and the public.

Sarah continues to have a passion for learning and higher education. In 2018, Sarah completed her Master's of Business Administration (MBA) and is now working towards her PhD in health care marketing, specializing in patient psychology and treatment experience. She has won a number of awards for her research and academic pursuits, including the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Fellowship valued at $105,000 granted to the top students in Canada by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.

When she isn't practicing in the clinic, teaching or conducting research, Sarah stays active by hiking, running and swimming around the North Shore, and skiing at Whistler.
