About me

Ryan received his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from UBC after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley.

Ryan has been a university varsity rower, competitive kayaker and coach, first-aid attendant, and swimming instructor. He now stays active with his young family and a variety of activities including backpacking, camping, skiing, swimming, and biking.

He is committed to lifelong learning and focuses on thorough assessments. He firmly believes in the use of evidence-based care; incorporating detailed education, hands-on manual therapy, IMS Dry Needling, and progressive exercises to promote function and recovery.

Ryan's strong athletic background and active lifestyle is what guided him into the physiotherapy profession. This, combined with his interest in evidence-based practice, research, pain science and patient outcomes has shaped his treatment philosophy.
