About me

Dr Remick is a psychiatrist. He is the Medical Director, Mood Disorders Association Psychiatric Urgent Care Program (a branch of Lookout Society) which offers novel and innovative methods of medical treatment for mood and anxiety disorders.

Dr. Remick has published over 200 scientific articles, abstracts, and book chapters predominately in the area of mood disorders. His area of research in recent years is using physical activity to treat depression, and he has developed several treatment interventions using exercise as medicine to treat depression.

Dr Remick has been honored by the Canadian Psychiatric Association with the CA Roberts Award for clinical leadership and innovation in psychiatric care, the award of Honorary Membership from the Canadian Medical Association, and the Dr Nancy Hall Award for Leadership in Public Policy by the Canadian Mental Health Association.
