PABC Course: Lower Limb Prosthetics

About this event

Course Description:

Join us for this interactive weekend course (two half days)! Content will focus on the principles, functions, and features of transtibial and transfemoral prosthesis designs commonly seen in the rehabilitation setting.

This dynamic and informative course will cover socket design, interface liners, suspension options, as well as commonly prescribed prosthetic knees and feet you may encounter in your clinical practice.

The facilitator will collaborate with model patients for live device demonstrations and application of the course content – enabling you to see various prosthesis designs in use.

You can also expect to gain an understanding of optimal patient prosthesis use and operation, how gait training can be adapted to different prosthesis designs, and how to educate your patients to safely use their devices.

We hope to see you there!
