BC's Restart Plan: What this Means for Physiotherapy

News - Attention Members

The provincial government shared their BC Restart Plan last week, which includes guidelines for reopening workplaces and businesses.

Physiotherapy clinics are in the second phase of this plan and will be permitted to transition back on May 19th.

How fitting, as May is National Physiotherapy Month, and we know for ourselves, our members, and community, this is one of the best gifts we could have received.

The PABC is continuing to work hard at getting more precise guidelines from the provincial government, for our members. Our CEO Christine Bradstock spoke to CBC about this very topic.

For those heading back to the workplace, WorkSafeBC has an informative guide to reducing the risk of COVID-19 with many valuable resources and tips.

Get additional information about keeping yourself and your clients healthy, from the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia.

We will continue to update our members and the public as the province continues to lift restrictions. Please reach out to us via email or phone with any questions or concerns you might have.
