How to Post & Rates

A. How to complete a new posting:

  1. Login to your account
  2. Once you are logged in, click on the green "Account" button in the top right corner and select "Create content" from the dropdown menu
    If you are already logged in you can create a post here
  3. Select Course/Event, Marketplace  or Job Posting from the content options
  4. Complete the posting form and click on "Submit for publication"
    **for Course/Events don’t forget to select your desired duration for the posting (zero to six months or zero to twelve months) and click “Add to cart”
  5. In the “View tab”, click “Next”. A pop-up message will appear, asking if you’d like to purchase an e-blast. If yes, select the appropriate month and click “Add to cart”
    **for Course/Events, you can purchase e-blasts for multiple months. Press “Next” in the “View” tab to add e-blasts
  6. In the e-blast window, you can select “Back to posting” to make changes to your posting (using the “Edit” tab), select “No thanks, I’m done for now” to exit, or select “Continue to checkout” once you are finished
  7. If you selected “Continue to checkout” you will be directed to your cart to review your purchases. You can remove any item
  8. Once you are done reviewing, click “Checkout”. As a first-time customer, add a new address by filling out the form. If you are a returning customer, select the appropriate address. You can edit the selected address by clicking “Edit”
  9. Click “Continue to review"
  10. Click “Pay with PayPal” to proceed to PayPal for payment

B. How to duplicate an expired posting:

  1. Login to your account
  2. Once you are logged in, click on the green "Account" button in the top right corner and select "My account" from the dropdown menu
  3. Under “My Content”, choose the expired posting you want to copy and select “duplicate”
  4. Follow steps 4 - 10 above

C. How to add an e-blast to a previously purchased posting:

  1. Login to your account
  2. Once you are logged in, click on the green "Account" button in the top right corner and select "My account" from the dropdown menu
  3. Under “My Content”, click on “Buy E-blast” for the  relevant posting
  4. A pop-up message will appear, asking if you’d like to purchase an e-blast. If yes, select the appropriate month and click “Add to cart”
    **for Course/Events, you can purchase e-blasts for multiple months. Press “Next” in the “View” tab to add e-blasts
  5. Select “Continue to checkout”. You will be directed to your cart to review your purchases
  6. Once you are done reviewing, click “Checkout”. As a first-time customer, add a new address from the drop-down menu and fill out the form. If you are a returning customer, select the appropriate address. You can edit the selected address by clicking “Edit”
  7. Click “Continue to review”
  8. Click “Pay with PayPal” to proceed to PayPal for payment

Posting and E-blast Rates

What is an e-blast?

E-blast is simply another word for an email campaign. PABC has various emails going out to the members on a monthly basis.

By purchasing a spot in one of the e-blasts you are making sure a link to your posting is being sent directly to 2500+ inboxes.

The deadline for inclusion in the next e-blast is midnight on the 14th. If it is after the 14th of the month, it will be included in the following month’s e-blast. 

What is a Featured Ad?

A featured ad links to your original posting and helps drive traffic to your posting. There are three types of Featured Ads. 

1. Featured Ad in an e-blast

The ad appears in the header or footer of the e-blast, is titled "Featured Ad", includes an image or a logo and a description of max. 25 words.

2. Featured Ad on the website

The ad appears at the top of the relevant postings page on the website and includes an image or a logo. This is available on the Jobs, Marketplace and Courses pages. The ad is created using information from your existing posting, so there is no need to provide artwork.

3. Featured Ad on social media

The ad appears on the social media platforms that it was purchased for and includes an image or a logo. The ad will be shared on the appropriate social media platform on the first of the month and will link to your original job posting on the website. 

What is a Promoted Ad? 

Promoted Ads help to push your job posting to the top of the list. Promoted Ads enable you to ensure that your job posting is being seen by people looking for a new position. Promoted job postings run for one week, with a maximum of 5 being purchasable per week. Purchasing Promoted Ads for your job posting enables you to be strategic with how you advertise with PABC.
