This one day Advanced course is appropriate for therapists who have taken an introductory course and would like to review and enhance their skills. A component of the course is devoted to developing more effective exercise programming as well as management of BPPV. More recently, the role of vision assessment and vision therapy has proven to be an effective intervention in Post Concussion Syndrome. Utilizing vision therapy in patients with vestibular dysfunctions has also proven to be a dynamic and effective group of interventions. A component of the course incorporates a detailed review of these interventions.
Course Content:
Review and advances in the assessment and treatment of BPPV, UVL and BVL clients.
Advances in the assessment and treatment of selected otological and non-otological pathologies including post concussion syndrome
Vision assessment and treatment programming - practical time provided
Patient related videos (nystagmus, oculomotor findings etc.)
