About me

Jacquie graduated from UBC with her Master of Physical Therapy degree and has a fresh perspective on Physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Providing evidence based techniques in manual therapy, exercise prescription, massage, and education. Jacquie believes it is important to empower clients with the tools and knowledge for the most effective treatment of any prognosis.

She has completed her Manual Therapy Orthopaedics Level 1 certification, Soft Tissue Release and a Mulligan Mobilization with Movement course.  She is also looking forward to integrating inner core activation and Yoga techniques into her assessment and treatment of all clients. She will be completing her Yoga Teacher certification June 2015.

Growing up in Ontario, Jacquie completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at Ryerson University and also received a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.  Prior to Physiotherapy school, Jacquie worked as a preschool teacher and has had many years of experience working with children and families. Women's health has also been an area of interest to her in her studies; including pre and post-natal care, pregnancy, pelvic floor dysfunction, and incontinence.

In her free time you will find Jacquie keeping herself busy with yoga, hikes, baseball, travel, and handfuls of seasonal sports. She loves new challenges and this summer will be learning how to golf!
