Hayley Freedman

Hayley graduated with her Masters of Physiotherapy degree from the University of British Columbia in 2010. She is currently working as the Grade 2 Supervisor Physiotherapist on the Subacute Medicine unit at Vancouver General Hospital. As a float physiotherapist, Hayley has worked in many different areas of public practice including Neurology, ICU, Respiratory, Surgical, and Orthopedics. She has taken additional courses in Bobath Neurolgoical Rehab and Vestibular Rehabilitation. Her passion is working with patients to recover after stroke or other brain injuries. 

She is involved in her profession as the PABC Public Practice Ambassador for VGH and as a member of the Public Practice Advisory Committee. She is also keen to learn and share knowledge, which has led her to join the VGH Education Council. 

Hayley enjoys staying active by running, de-stressing with yoga, and riding her bike to work.
