About me

Craig Babiuk graduated from the University of Victoria in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. He then proceeded to successfully complete his Masters degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in Edmonton in late 2006. Upon moving back to Victoria as a new graduate he had the good fortune to work for two years under the tutelage of some of the most distinguished physiotherapists in the city, providing him with an excellent opportunity to study and improve his advanced manual therapy technique.

While experienced with a wide variety of orthopaedic and sports injuries, Craig's main area of interest as a practitioner is in the realm of running-related lower body injuries and gait analysis. In his spare time, Craig acts as a team therapist for the Oak Bay Castaway Wanderers rugby club in Oak Bay, BC providing both on and off-field care.

In his personal life, Craig has always been very involved in sport at both the competitive and recreational level. As an undergraduate student Craig spent five years competing for the University of Victoria's varsity track and cross-country teams as well as being a member of Canada's national track and field development program. When not running, he enjoys playing hockey, tennis, hiking and cycling.
