Time to rethink nociception, re-engage your neurotags and target recovery. This course aims to encourage participants to rethink several aspects of pain neurobiology. We will cover: mechanical and danger detection in normal and sensitised states and the clinical implications for care; functional organisation of the dorsal horn in normal and sensitised states and the clinical implications for assessment and intervention; contemporary principles of neural representations and the clinical implications for assessment and practical implementation of The Protectometer. This course will utilise and highlight contemporary conceptual change strategies through demonstration and commentary.
