Description. This one-day course is designed to educate participants on proper technique of the fundamental movements in Fitness Athlete programming. Learn coaching, analysis, and breakdowns of the squat, deadlift, push, pull, and basic Olympic lifts. Through the use of multiple models, the instructors will cover each movement beginning with proper performance and then highlighting commonly seen mistakes. Dr. Babcock and Dr. Smith will show how to correct these common mistakes through coaching, and as needed through breaking down the movement to identify relevant physical impairments and addressing these through targeted mobility and stability exercises.

Additionally, Zach teaches with Owens Recovery Science, the undisputed frontrunner in Blood Flow Restriction clinical training and research. Zach is an ABPTS Sports Certified Specialist, Level One CrossFit Trainer, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, and certified SFMA practitioner.

All physiotherapists are responsible for ensuring that they have a current license to practice from CPTBC. If participants are from out of BC, they must acquire a Courtesy License from CPTBC.
For Courses, refunds are issued for cancellation requests received 1 month prior to the event, less a $100 cancellation fee. No refund will be issued for cancellation requests received less than 1 month prior to the event.
