Mastering the Shoulder is a two day shoulder skills workshop offering a comprehensive mix of specific clinical skills for diagnosing and treating a variety of shoulder disorders. The course is designed to advance both your treatment skills and your current knowledge of a variety of shoulder problems using evidence informed practice.
Assessment and treatment skills will be taught for the stiff shoulder (OA, adhesive capsulitis and contractures), comprehensive tendinopathy / bursal exercise progressions and functional management of all severities of cuff injuries. Clinical pearls for AC joint treatments, accurate differential diagnosis and the recommended ActiveShoulder exam will all be covered. Additional practical time has been added for our 2017 course. Teaching manuals and light refreshments throughout both days will be included.

SEPTEMBER 2017 - Mastering the Shoulder ADVANCED
Please note our Level II Mastering the Shoulder ADVANCED is being offered for the first time in Kelowna in September 2017 and Level I is a prerequisite for the Level II course.
INSTRUCTOR: Cameron Bennett MPhty (MSK), BSc, CSCS, MPT.
Cameron Bennett runs two shoulder practices in Vancouver, British Columbia seeing approximately 60-70 shoulder disorders per week for the past 12 years and has taught previously at the University of Melbourne School of Physiotherapy. Cameron teaches regularly within hospital, general practice and mixed private practice settings in Vancouver and across Canada over the past five years.
Cameron's teaching focusses on essential criteria for diagnosing shoulder disorders, selective use of advanced exercise techniques and specific protocols for both physiotherapy and medical intervention for solving shoulder pain.
