Course Description:

AN-IMS 1 is an intensive 3-day hands-on course created for practitioners who have not taken any IMS/Dry needling courses previously or are new to the FHE application of dry needling. This includes those who have previous acupuncture training. AN-IMS 1 instructs participants in the neuropathic clinical reasoning framework, allowing for the safe and effective application of IMS/dry needling across patient populations. In this course participants will investigate the anatomical and physiological mechanisms of neuropathic theory as well as gain significant hands on practical experience applying IMS/dry needling to the whole body.  AN-IMS 1 is taught by university professors in Canadian physiotherapy programs and active clinicians with extensive experience in IMS/Dry needling, anatomy, manual therapy, and osteopathic techniques.
