This course is built on the knowledge that you, as current practitioners of therapeutic exercise, already have a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

The objective of this course is to facilitate the teaching of Pilates through clinical reasoning and critical thinking. Through clinical scenarios, participants will learn indications, progressions, modifications and contraindications to Pilates exercises.

The course includes Pilates mat, reformer, trapeze table, and wunda chair exercises. Upon completion of this course, participants will be confident in applying the clinical skills of movement analysis and movement education for rehabilitation and injury prevention using Pilates techniques.
